The members were entertained by ‘Timespan’ who brought many old medical instruments and tales of the medical profession. The Chapel collection went to the Alzheimer Society.
May 2007
The talk was given by 2 Cancer Care Nurses who explained about the need for counselling and back up care for the family. St Wilfreds Hospice was our Chapel collection beneficiary.
May 2006
The Chapel Collection went to the Cinnamon Trust, a charity who care for the pets of owners who have become too ill or infirm to manage them.
May 2005
Members toured the newly - opened Chichester Treatment Centre and had a short talk on its role in the Hospital. The chapel collection went to the Cancer Day Unit.
May 2004
Nurse Managers involved in the Chichester Treatment Centre spoke on Nursing aspects of the new Centre.The Chapel Collection went to the Snowdrop Trust who provide care for children with life-threatening illness.
June 2003
The Hospital Emergency Planning Officer gave a talk about his role in planning for major incidents in the area and how the day to day hospital work would be affected in such an occurrence. The Chapel collection went to 4sight, a charity for the blind.
